Product Use & Care

Copper Fusion Cookware – READ FIRST

IMPORTANT WARNINGS:

  • DO NOT ALLOW TO BOIL DRY – do not reuse a cookware that has been boiled dry or has a damaged surface
  • DO NOT LEAVE HEATING COOKWARE UNATTENDED – forgotten cookware can boil over or boil dry
  • DO NOT PRE-HEAT COOKWARE DRY – sustained high heat can damage enamel surface and burner
  • To prevent shocking and possibly damaging enamel, do not immerse hot cookware in water
  • Do not place frozen items in dry, pre-heated cookware - frozen food may cause irreparable thermal-shock damage to the enamel
  • Never use knives or electric beaters in cookware
  • Do not directly expose glass lids to a hot burner or flame, and avoid extreme temperature changes
  • Do not use the glass lid if you notice a crack in it
  • Use an oven mitt to remove cookware from the oven
  • Open lids carefully to prevent steam from coming in contact with your face or hands, and wear an oven mitt to protect hand

HELPFUL TIPS

  • Always put liquid in cookware before pre-heating
  • Broiler safe without lid
  • To prevent sticking, add a small amount of spray oil, margarine, or butter to a cold pan. Heat on low to medium temperature for 1-2 minutes before adding food. Reduce heat if fats/oils smoke.
