HELPFUL HINTS
- The silicone gasket is oven-safe to 425°, but should be removed for extended microwave cooking.
- The silicone gasket removes easily for cleaning.
- If labeling or decorating your dish with a permanent marker, only write on glazed surfaces.
- Even though your Chantal ceramic bakeware is extremely durable, treat it with care.
CERAMICS CHIP OR BREAK if dropped, overstacked or knocked against the sink or other hard surface. - Always use a trivet/hotplate to protect surfaces from heat and/or moisture.
- For best results, thaw frozen meals in the refrigerator before microwaving.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:
- BEFORE FIRST USE, wash with hot soapy water, rinse and dry.
- Bakeware and silicone gasket are dishwasher-safe.
- For occasional dried-on food, sprinkle with a teaspoon of baking soda and water and scrub with a nylon or plastic scrubber.
- Do not use steel wool, scouring pads, oven cleaners, bleach or strong abrasive cleaners on your ceramic bakeware.
IMPORTANT WARNINGS:
- DO NOT EXPOSE HOT BAKEWARE TO COLD WATER - cracking could occur from sudden temperature change.
- DO NOT write on un-glazed surfaces.
- Not for stovetop or broiler use.
- Always use a potholder when handling.
